Breakfast with Tahltan Delegates at PDAC 2022

In June of this year at the Annual Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) conference in Toronto, Galore Creek was honored to host a breakfast with President Chad Day of the Tahltan Nation, key members of his leadership team, and a talented delegation of Tahltan youth at the Fairmont Royal York.

The morning started with a breakfast where our Galore Creek team and representatives from our owners, Teck, and Newmont, had a chance to meet and learn about the Tahltan delegates that had travelled to Toronto for a busy week of learning and exploring. Galore Creek presented a short project update, followed by discussion and questions from the group about the project, the industry and mining in NW British Columbia and the many Tahltan opportunities ahead.
It was refreshing and inspiring to be in person engaging with such an interesting group and hearing more about the promising opportunities they are pursuing. We want to express our thanks to those in attendance for sharing your interests, aspirations, and thoughts about the Project and the broader industry. We are already looking forward to PDAC 2023.
