Our Prefeasibility Study, which began in 2010 and was completed in 2011, was undertaken to evaluate a revised project configuration from that described in the 2006 Feasibility Study. The revised design locates the process plant and tailings management facility in the upper West More Valley, and connects it by tunnel to the mining area in the Galore Valley.
An internal Advanced Engineering Study was completed in March 2012. This study was aimed at further defining the opportunities and enhancements defined in the Prefeasibility Study. Since then, we have been working on a wide range of technical studies including project mine planning and design, as well as waste rock and water management.
